We got back on Monday from a three day trip to Virginia to visit with Ryan's parents and his grandparents. Ryan and Sophie flew down on Friday and I joined them on Saturday. It was a wonderful visit filled with good food and catching up and the entertainment was provided by Sophie herself! Friday night, Ryan and Sophie ate dinner with Pops and Mawmaw and Gigi at the clubhouse in Brandermill woods. Saturday we hung out around the house and had a really tasty dinner of fillets and mushrooms. Sunday we had a highlight of our trip with dinner and dessert at Friendly's. There is no Friendly's ice cream in Michigan and Ryan and I both love their Reese's Peanut Butter sundaes. Yummy!

Sophie is thankfully feeling much better after her bout with an ear infection. She is still teething like crazy and the newest bottom tooth is almost all the way in. She flashes her pearly whites while smiling and loves to brush her teeth with her Baby Einstein tooth brush.

Her newest accomplishment is becoming a pro at pulling her self up to a kneeling position and has reached semi-pro status at pulling her self up to a stand. Our neighbors gave us this Little Tykes "Play Garden". She can open the door crawl in, and crawl out the crawl space all in under 15 seconds. She really enjoys opening and closing the mailbox, spinning the birds around and picking the radish and onion. I will try and get video of her playing with it. She was playing on it today and Ryan and I both agreed that she is getting so big...so grown up.

Our friends Sami and Joweria came over to visit yesterday. We had a good time catching up and they were amazed at how much Sophie has grown and what she can do now. She is such an active, inquisitive little girl!

This week's video was taken while we were in Virginia. Sophie always giggles and smiles when anyone plays peek-a-boo with her and she starting this weekend covering her own face and playing peek-a-boo. Very cute to watch......(Sophie's "Music Together" CD is the soundtrack in the background)
